She didn’t turn, but it was nice to do the yoga to get ready for the birth. I had back labor that’s why it took so long and was so painful, but the breathing totally helped. “I SWEAR that it has to be your class that has made this pregnancy so different from the other two. I gained only 20 pounds (which is only a little less than the other two…25 lbs with Lexi and 28 with Russell) but I could totally tell a difference in the way my body looked. My stomach was smaller for some reason and it’s only been a week but my stomach has retracted A LOT compared to the other two pregnancies. Short and Effective, Amazon review of Sara Holliday’s Prenatal Yoga DVD May 8, 2007 By Whitedimond (Germfask, Michigan United States) - I love this DVD because I can do it in the morning before work. It’s short enough and easy enough to do at 5:30 AM. I would not advise doing this DVD while pregnant with a full stomach. That’s why I prefer this in the morning on an empty stomach.

Sara’s Fit Mamma’s class has rekindled my love and ambition for fitness and
exercising. After having my daughter, who is now 4, it was very difficult
to make the time for myself or to motivate myself to exercise because I had
been out of the fitness groove for so long. Then I met another mom at my
daughter’s school who trains with the Fit Mamma’s. A few weeks later I
finally made it to Sara’s class. I felt so energized and rejuvenated and I
could not wait to go to her next class! Sara is very professional in the
way she instructs each person on doing the exercises correctly and to focus
on the particular group of muscles we are using. The results I have seen
are so satisfying. In just a week even my family was commenting on the
definition in my arms and legs. As well, my state of mind is more grounded
after each class.
Sara’s class has given me more ambition in my fitness program also. My new
goal is to finish a duathlon that takes place in a few months. Had I not
joined Sara’s class I would still be putting my workout off till tomorrow or
next week.
It feels great to know I can regain muscle tone and be active again. I
recommend to all moms out there who have not been able to commit themselves
to a workout routine yet, Sara’s routine can give you back your sense of

Hi Sara–I just found you when I was going insane and had to order some yoga videos to keep me from banging my head against a wall…:) See, I just finished Ironman Wisconsin in September 2006, and have been used to training and racing for 5 years. I am pregnant with my first child, and had a rough time with nausea in the first trimester. I just tried your 2nd trimester yoga video and it made me feel so much better…like an athlete again! I\’m going to check out your podcasts, and just listened to you on the Pregtastic podcast. So, I’m a big fan and just wanted to say thanks for making this Ironman/future Ironmom feel better about all these changes going on right now!

I can actually do these poses and feel like I’m getting a good stetch, and it’s not sooo challening that I feel totally sore the next day. I like walking and am even still running some on the days I don’t do the yoga, and it’s a great opportunity to do more stretching and toning than I would get otherwise. Sara is a great instructor and very easy to follow. Unlike another reviewer who really liked the relaxation portion at the end, I tend to fast-forward through it…but over all I’ve really enjoyed it and I’m really motivated to do it because I feel like I’m doing something good for the growing baby!
